============================================================================================ Island Patrol, 10/31/03 by wolfman(R1)(R2) Map:120x120, Single Mission Campaign, Drop Weight Limit: 250 tons ============================================================================================ We had sent two Lances of Firemoth Mechs to explore an uninhabited island. One Firemoth was equipped with JumpJets, the latest sensor technology, the latest long range communication technology and the latest data recording equipment available. This Firemoth was piloted by Needle, one of our young and well trained pilots. The exploration team had established a first camp and had started to patrol the Northern parts of that island. Needle reported the sighting of an enemy's dropship three days ago. Therefore our patrol had established a second camp that seemed to give them more protection in case of enemy activities. Yesterday Needle had transmitted his report and all recorded data for the last time. He reported about a lot of heavy Mechs searching the island for our patrol and that they had been attacked in their Northern camp. Four out of the six Mechs we had sent were already down. Needle was trying to escape the battle and hide somewhere to save his Firemoth and the data recorded. We don't know what happened to him and the other missing Firemoth number six yet. You have to inspect the two camps and find Needle and his missing Lancemate. Perhaps we can save survivors. In any case you need to recover Needle's Firemoth and destroy the enemy dropship if it is still around. It is important to understand that your available ressource points are very limited and the mission fails without the recovery of Needle's Mech. ============================================================================================ (R1) designed for unofficial MC2 expansion pack wolfman-x.
